Throughout this site, the terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to Palazzo Cielo. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our Service and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, including those additional terms, conditions, and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

SECTION 6 — VINTAGE, ANTIQUE, AND HANDMADE GOODS

Palazzo Cielo carries a selection of vintage, antique, and handmade objects. By their nature, these items may exhibit signs of age, wear, patina, minor imperfections, slight variations in color or finish, or other characteristics inherent to their origin or method of production. These characteristics are not considered defects or damage and do not qualify for return or refund.

Each vintage or antique item is unique. Color representation on screen may vary from the actual object. If you have questions about a specific item's condition before purchasing, please contact us at info@cielohomepdx.com.

Handmade goods may also exhibit slight variations from item to item. These variations are a natural expression of the craft and are not grounds for return.

SECTION 7 — CANDLE SAFETY AND PROPER USE

All candles sold by Palazzo Cielo must be used with care and in accordance with the following safety guidelines. By purchasing a candle from us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these instructions and agree to use the product safely and responsibly. Palazzo Cielo assumes no liability for injury, damage, or loss resulting from improper use of candles.

Before lighting: Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before every use. Remove all packaging, labels, and any decorative elements before burning. Place the candle on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface away from flammable materials including curtains, bedding, paper, and clothing. Ensure the area above the candle is clear of any overhanging materials.

While burning: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets at all times. Keep away from drafts, vents, ceiling fans, and air currents, which can cause uneven burning, smoking, or flare-ups. Do not burn a candle for more than four hours at a time. The candle container and surrounding surface will become hot during use — do not touch, move, or place on an unprotected surface while lit or while wax is still liquid. Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire.

Extinguishing: Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame. Do not use water to extinguish a candle as this can cause hot wax to splatter and may crack glass containers. Ensure the flame is fully extinguished before leaving the room. Do not blow out candles near flammable materials.

After use: Allow the candle and wax to cool completely before handling, moving, or relighting. Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, and debris, which are fire hazards. Discontinue use when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains in the container. Burning a candle beyond this point can cause the container to overheat and crack.

Storage: Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Prolonged exposure to sunlight or heat may cause discoloration or warping. Keep candles covered when not in use to protect the wax and wick from dust.

Palazzo Cielo is not responsible for any injury, property damage, or loss arising from the failure to follow these safety guidelines.

SECTION 8 — FRAGRANCE AND PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS

All fragrance, apothecary, and personal care products sold by Palazzo Cielo, including but not limited to soaps, diffusers, room sprays, and body care items, are sold as-is and are non-returnable once opened. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.

These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition or disease. Ingredient lists are provided by the manufacturer and are subject to change. If you have known allergies or sensitivities, please review all ingredient information carefully before use. We recommend performing a patch test before applying any new personal care product to the skin.

Keep all fragrance and personal care products out of reach of children and pets. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a medical professional. Palazzo Cielo assumes no liability for adverse reactions resulting from the use of these products.

SECTION 9 — ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

We reserve the right to refuse any order placed with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the contact information provided at the time the order was made.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card details, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

We may provide you with access to third-party tools over which we neither monitor nor have any control. You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, representations, or conditions of any kind and without any endorsement.
